Switching Your Language Preference at RBC Direct Investing is Easy

You might recall selecting a preferred language (English or French) when you first opened your account with RBC Direct Investing. Your choice helped us determine in which language to send you correspondence, including mailings, emails and statements.

But what if you decide to change your communication preference? We can take care of that! Simply send us a secure message or call us at 1-800-769-2560 and we'll make the switch.

Here's how you send us a secure message:

  • Sign into RBC Direct Investing and go to the Profile Icon at top right of your page
  • Click on Message Centre
  • Find the Send Secure Email link, click on it and select RBC Direct Investing from the dropdown menu. Complete your message and click Send. We'll get back to you in about two business days.

You can also change the language you see on the RBC Direct Investing site at Click the Canadian flag at the top and select your desired language from the dropdown menu. Once redirected to the site page of your choice, sign in.
