How to Search for a Quote

There are two ways to search for real-time1 streaming2 quotes for stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the Trading Dashboard, found under My Portfolio.

The quickest way is to use the search feature from the title bar of the Trading Dashboard:

Click the search icon, which looks like a magnifying glass. A search window will open.

Enter a symbol or company name.

From the list of results, select a stock or ETF to view its quote. A Factsheet widget will open.

The other way to search for a quote is through the Widgets Gallery:

In the main dropdown menu at the top of the Trading Dashboard, select Widgets.

Under the Filter by type column, select Quote.

Select Add under the Quote widget.

Once in the Quote widget, click the search icon at the top. It looks like a magnifying glass. A search window will open.

Enter a symbol or company name.

From the list of results, select a stock or ETF to view its quote.

You can also find quotes by clicking the search icon in a Factsheet widget.
